5-day morning program-Kindergarten


  • TPPK has a 1/2 day Kindergarten that meets Monday-Friday from 9:15-12:15.
  • One class for Kindergarten meeting Monday through Friday
  • Children must be 5 by 8/30
  • The class has a certified teacher and an assistant.
  • The maximum number of students is 15 children.
  • In addition to the programs outlined above, the Kindergarten class has:
      • • Level reading groups
      • Handwriting Without Tears Program

    4-day morning programs-PreK

    • Two Pre-K classes for 4-year-olds meeting Monday through Thursday
    • Children must be 4 by 8/30
    • In addition to the programs outlined above, the Pre-K classes have:

    • Two classes for 3-year-olds meeting Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
    • Children must be 3 by 8/30

    The TPPK vacation schedule is planned yearly with consideration given to the Durham Public School System's Traditional Calendar.
